VoiceGATE is a USB memory type voice recorder that links with the cloud service Evernote. When connected to a computer's USB port, recorded data is automatically uploaded to Evernote. An Evernote account is required to use the service. Additionally, the dedicated software EN Uploader included with the main unit must be installed on your computer to link with it.

Recorded data is in WAV file format with a bit rate of 128kbps and is recorded in ADPCM format within the main unit. When uploading to Evernote, it is automatically converted to PCM format. While the recorded data on the main unit is erased simultaneously with uploading to Evernote, a backup of the PCM data is automatically created on your computer.

The main unit has a capacity of 4GB and can store up to 60 hours of recorded data. It has a built-in rechargeable battery that charges via USB port, and provides approximately 8 hours of operation on a full charge. The dimensions are 70mm (height) x 21mm (width) x 9.4mm (depth), and it weighs approximately 13g.
